Pampered Chef

Pampered Chef

User Interface

To create a more immersive environment for Pampered Chef Annual Conference attendees, I designed a user friendly iPad application look that was pitched for the 2016 National Conference. Within the event venue, a series of iPads were to be arranged in front of a larger (LED) screen station (see diagram at bottom). Through the interaction of the iPads, consultants would then be able to share their personal memories with Pampered Chef as well as their friends and family on social media. Consultants would sign in with their consultant ID and follow the short instructions, allowing them to share their memories. Once complete, the message would be fed to the screen as well as having the option to share on social media.

Consultants would begin their experience by signing in with their consultant ID (see top screen). Consultants would then take a short survey (far left screen). From there, participating consultants are prompted to share a Pampered Chef memory (center screen). Lastly, participants are asked to share their post to be shown on the Happy Wall.

Leadership Conference

Stage Graphics | LED Panels

The 2015 Defenders Leadership Conference was held at the beautiful Murat Theater in Indianapolis, Indiana. The event spanned several days and displayed several interactive branding stations.

Below is a render of the set design. As part of the set, there were four configurations of LED panels that were placed upstage. These LED panels displayed motion graphics to help support the Defenders brand and show theme. I helped develop the look and design of the LED panel content, working directly with an animator to help the content come to life.

Stage graphics | Speaker Support

As part of the Defenders set,  a single 16x9 projection screen was set up to display speaker support graphics at all times (except for video rolls and IMAG shots). These graphics included speaker introductions, inspirational quotes, award recognition(s), photos and other speaker content.

Branding | Large Format Printing

To inspire attendees and get them excited about the Defenders brand, several interactive activities were placed within the lobby area, one of which included a commitment wall (design below). Participants were asked to read the question prompts on the commitment wall and then were given small, blank speech bubble stickers. From there, they wrote their prompt responses on the stickers and then added their stickers to the wall.

Another interactive part of the brand experience included a photo op with face cutouts. This provided a fun, playful way for conference attendees to celebrate and connect with the Defenders brand.

La salle High School

Event Graphics

La Salle High School, located right here in Cincinnati, needed help with designing large scale event graphics. As the lead designer for this project, I worked with elements of the school brand to create several dynamic concepts.

The concept on the left is photo based, using the school seal/crest along with photo manipulated imagery of a lancer, the school mascot. The concept on the right is a vector based design. It provides a clean, straightforward approach while still tapping into La Salle core branding elements.

Creating Smiles

Creating Smiles

Nu SKin | small Print

These three pieces were created for a charity event called Creating Smiles, a gala (held by the Nu Skin Force For Good Foundation) that helps to support children in need. All items were treated in a way so that they would feel more elevated than normal, everyday branded items. The stars are silver and copper leaf printed, and the paper selections are weighted to give the materials a more substantial feel. The promotional/informative booklet was designed for potential donors. A save-the-date and auction bid cards were also designed to tie in with the (upscale) event.

Website and mobile Application prototypes

Matson Money hosts an annual investor coaching conference. As an effort to make event information easily accessible for all attendees, I suggested using a mobile friendly website. Below is a design for the initial landing page. Elements from the event branding were applied to create a cohesive look that tied in with the event and other print media designed for the occasion.

As an alternative to the mobile friendly website, a simple phone application design was also mock-ed up and proposed. This application would house the same information as the website would, but would allow for even easier access to data and other content for attendees.

Scentsy

SPEAKer support graphics

As part of an event proposal for Scentsy, a system of speaker support graphics were created to display how content could be communicated to the audience via custom made panoramic projection screens. The graphics package incorporated elements from the Scentsy brand standards and show logo (provided by client). Further inspiration was pulled from Scentsy’s product brochure and other branding materials for the event.

Catfish Ball

Catfish Ball

DIGITAL COLLAGE, BRANDING

Local bands gathered at the Catfish Ball, hosted by WNKU and The Southgate House Revival, to perform as dead musicians from the past. I helped to develop possible logo options for the event in the style of an ornamental cartouche. Logo was drawn by hand and then scanned in to give it a rough, handcrafted feel.

To help promote bands at the event, I created some large scale format poster promo boards. Kiss-cut wall and table graphics were designed to also be displayed at the event (bottom). These were placed throughout the venue on the night of the event.

Tradeshow booth

To reflect the (somewhat recent) Cintas brand refresh and appeal to new clientele, I worked with a 3D Designer to develop a trade show booth for Cintas. The designs needed to be flexible in that they could be easily taken apart and reduced to smaller (square) shaped space, creating a more compact design for smaller events/venues. Monitors and messaging were applied to booth wall surfaces to carry the brand throughout.

This was an alternative booth option that was also presented to the client. The full size booth design is on the left and the smaller, more compact version in on the right.

Writer's Digest Magazine

Writer's Digest Magazine

Digital Publishing

To stay current with their target market, Writer's Digest decided to expand their print magazine to digital media via iPad. I worked as part of a small team (myself along with another designer) and we were responsible for creating responsive, dynamic layouts for each section of the periodical. Together, we created user friendly templates that allowed for easy flow of content for future issues.
